Operations Analyst 1
The Operations Analyst is a key member of the operations team; supporting processes and project implementations.
This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity with exposure to all aspects of the insurance business. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, a demonstrated drive for personal success, and the functional aptitude to learn new responsibilities with proficiency. This role is a hybrid opportunity from the Conshohocken, PA Home Office.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute day-to-day operational, compliance, and data support activities in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform surplus lines filings and support regulatory reporting requirements under guidance.
  • Complete billing corrections, account current reconciliations, data validation, and issue resolution for assigned programs.
  • Monitor and support ongoing data feeds, integrations, and operational workflows; identify and escalate exceptions as needed.
  • Provide system user support and assist with testing, validation, and implementation activities as directed.
  • Support operations projects and initiatives through task execution, testing, documentation updates, and ongoing processing once workflows are established.
  • Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and new program implementations by supporting data gathering, documentation, testing, and validation activities.
  • Perform data entry and policy support tasks in rating and policy systems (e.g., IMS/NetRate, QuickSolver, C1) following established procedures.
  • Support routine policy lifecycle processing, including issuance support, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  • Assist with broker and internal service requests, including certificate support, document retrieval, and basic status updates.
  • Update and maintain CRM records, operational notes, and system data to ensure visibility, accuracy, and auditability of work performed.
  • Support legal notice and return mail workflows, including preparation, tracking, and research to resolve returned items.
  • Assist with carrier and production reporting by validating data, compiling required information, and escalating discrepancies.
  • Maintain and follow documented operational procedures, workflows, and reference materials; assist with updates as changes occur.
  • Review release notes to understand system or workflow impacts and support implementation of required changes.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, trackers, and logs to support auditability, continuity, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support assigned operational and compliance functions.
  • Identify data issues, discrepancies, or workflow gaps and escalate appropriately.
  • Support surplus lines operational tasks as assigned, including data preparation, tracking, and documentation to support filings and payments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently.
  • Articulate and well-spoken; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required.
