Description:

The Customer Service Representative supports the daily operations of the full truckload brokerage team by managing communication between customers, carriers, and internal operations. This role ensures that shipments are executed accurately, on time, and with exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced logistics environment.


Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and effective issue resolution.
  • Oversee shipment lifecycle from pickup through delivery to ensure accuracy, compliance, and on-time performance.
  • Collaborate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to coordinate scheduling, documentation, and service execution.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Support cross-functional teams, including operations, accounting, and carrier relations, to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify service gaps and opportunities to enhance efficiency, performance, and the overall customer experience.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of warehouse or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or freight
  • Brokerage customer service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending or reaching as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs occasionally (e.g.,office supplies, files, small packages)
  • Must be able to see clearly and adjust focus for computer and written materials.
