Responsibilities

Position: Civil Engineer/Surveyor/Construction Professional

We are looking for new college graduates to fill entry-level roles in multiple disciplines for offices in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Munster, IN. We have opportunities available in:

In this role, you will apply your foundational knowledge to a variety of engineering and design assignments. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and receive hands-on experience in your chosen field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering, construction, and design projects with a focus on your area of expertise.
  • Assist in preparing reports, cost estimates, and technical studies.
  • Perform field testing of soils, concrete, and other materials.
  • Prepare detailed sketches and diagrams for use by technicians.
  • Review and check detailed drawings and layouts.
  • Document all project activities clearly and concisely.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and responsible manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field (e.g., surveying or construction management).
  • Relevant internship experience is highly preferred.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification, or a willingness to obtain it within one year of hire.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation is a plus.
