OPPORTUNITY:

• This is an off campus Federal Work Study Position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Community:

Perform a variety of clerical duties such as typing correspondence, reports, and other documents. Establish and maintain manual and computerized files, records, and logs. Answer questions and provides information. Serve as the general receptionist answering phones and taking messages and compile data.

  • Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
  • Compile data.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
  • Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to individuals.
  • Make travel arrangements for executives.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
  • Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems, and performing essential bookkeeping work.
  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
  • Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Below are the minimum requirements of the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently perform in this position.
