Job description

We’re Looking for an Experienced Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our CPA firm. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a professional who can confidently handle both accounting/bookkeeping and individual and business tax preparation.

This position also involves regular face-to-face meetings with clients, so the ability to communicate professionally and confidently is essential.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Applicants must have:

  • 2–3 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience
  • 2–3 years of tax preparation experience
  • Experience preparing both personal and business tax returns
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Experience with reconciliations, general ledger, and financial reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work
  • UltraTax CS experience is a plus
  • CPA firm/public accounting experience is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable meeting and communicating face-to-face with clients
