What You'll Do

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play an important role in supporting our accounting operations by:

  • Processing and entering vendor invoices in a high-volume environment
  • Opening, sorting, scanning, and organizing incoming mail and documents
  • Learning how to properly code invoices to cost centers and general ledger accounts
  • Researching and resolving vendor payment questions and discrepancies
  • Reviewing vendor statements and maintaining accurate records
  • Monitoring outstanding payments and assisting with payment follow-up
  • Coding company credit card transactions and tracking missing receipts
  • Preparing journal entries and assisting with month-end accounting activities
  • Supporting project managers and vendors with exceptional customer service
