Position Overview 

ACT Biomed is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Technician Aide to support our biomedical equipment maintenance, testing, and repair operations. 

This entry-level position assists senior biomedical technicians with routine service tasks, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and documentation. It is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning a career in electronics, biomedical equipment technology, or engineering support


Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist technicians with diagnosing and repairing electronic and biomedical equipment 
  • Support installation, testing, and calibration of biomedical equipment and electronic assemblies 
  • Perform basic inspection and preventive maintenance tasks 
  • Prepare tools, materials, and workstations for repairs and service projects 
  • Assist with assembling wiring harnesses, cables, and circuit boards under supervision 
  • Use basic electronic test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and measurement tools 
  • Maintain organized work areas, tools, and parts inventory 
  • Document work performed and update service records or maintenance logs 
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies 
  • Occasionally accompany technicians on service visits to healthcare facilities 


Required Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of computers, electronics, circuits, or electrical systems
