Field Construction Assistant

Roof Depot is hiring a Field Construction Assistant to support our Homebuilder Solutions team. This role is built for someone who wants to build a career in construction, take ownership in the field, and be part of a team focused on execution, quality, and accountability.

Whether you are starting your career or looking for a new opportunity, this position provides hands-on experience and a clear path for advancement within a growing construction company.

What You Will Do

• Support daily field operations across active residential construction projects

• Work alongside Area Construction Managers and Field Construction Managers to keep projects on schedule

• Communicate with crews, suppliers, and builders to resolve issues and keep jobs moving

• Assist with quality control inspections and safety compliance

• Help manage material deliveries, shortages, returns, and job site logistics

• Track project progress from start to completion

• Support punch list completion, warranty items, and final walkthroughs

• Assist with material transportation and deliveries when needed

What We Are Looking For

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply

• Construction, roofing, siding, warehouse, delivery, or trade experience is a plus

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Reliable, dependable, and accountable

• Organized with strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Able to climb ladders and walk roofs, including moderate slopes

• Able to lift up to 80 pounds

• Basic computer and smartphone skills

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

• Valid driver's license required

• Must meet company driver eligibility requirements

• Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening

About The Role
