Position Overview

Delmont Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team in Garland, Texas. Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to ethical and legal standards governing our practice.
  • Engage in active collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care and coordinate services for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment methods, and accessible community resources, while advocating for their rights and needs as appropriate.
