As a vital part of our outpatient practice, you will engage with patients from the comfort of your own space, utilizing telehealth technology to provide exceptional mental health services. Work Environment

This role offers a fully remote work setting that allows for flexibility and work-life balance. You will be a key player in our outpatient practice, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining your own schedule. Regular business hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM, promoting a structured yet manageable workload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, evidence-based assessments to accurately evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clientsโ€™ mood disorder symptoms.
  • Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized, culturally sensitive treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and therapeutic preferences.
  • Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring techniques to suit each client's situation.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.
  • Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on emerging needs and challenges.
  • Engage in collaborative care, working directly with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated services and ensure holistic treatment for clients.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health treatments to continually enhance your therapeutic approach.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss best practices and foster professional growth.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, striving to reduce stigma surrounding mood disorders and promoting mental health awareness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure in the state of Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities specifically focused on mood disorders such as CBT and DBT.
  • Excellent communication skills that enable rapport building with clients from various demographics.
  • Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals.
Preferred Experience

Prior experience working with diverse populations in outpatient settings will be highly valued. A proven track record of successful therapy outcomes in treating mood disorders is also advantageous.
