In this role, you will coordinate mental health services within school hours, ensuring that students have access to the necessary resources and assistance during their educational journey. Key Responsibilities:
• Apply behavioral science principles to support youth in thriving in their home and community environments.
• Offer specialized services during school hours directly on school premises, empowering students to succeed and improve their overall functioning.
• Employ a supportive educational approach that aligns with the client's treatment goals and fosters recovery and resilience.
• Engage in a range of activities designed to meet the diverse needs and objectives of the students.
• Manage a caseload, ensuring coordination with supervisory staff and participating in client staffing to identify challenges and set achievable treatment goals.
• Provide emergency services to students in emotional crisis, offering rapid assistance and comprehensive follow-up.
• Collaborate closely with Brightli Operational Guidelines and adhere to professional ethical codes.
• Support management requirements, including data collection, program evaluation, and grant applications.
• Conduct outreach and home visits as necessary to engage with clients, particularly during school breaks.
• Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure the successful provision of mental health services.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other human services specialized field of study; or
• A Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with two years of related work experience; or
• Any four-year combination of higher education and two years of related work experience; or
• An Associate's of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support; or
• Four years of qualifying experience, which must include delivery of services to individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.
Additional Qualifications:
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle.
• Must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age to operate a company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van.
• Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance are required.
• Proof of valid and current auto insurance is required.
Physical Requirements:
• ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
