These competencies are crucial for supporting client progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a positive therapeutic environment.
What is an Entry Level Behavior Technician job?
An Entry Level Behavior Technician (BT) works with individuals, often children, with autism and other developmental disabilities to help improve their communication, social, and daily living skills. They implement treatment plans designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. BTs collect data on client progress, provide positive reinforcement, and assist in reducing challenging behaviors. This role is typically entry-level and includes on-the-job training.
