Essential Duties of the Collections Specialist include:

  • Tactful account confidentiality
  • Proactively manage multiple accounts
  • Analyze business financials thoroughly according to established procedures
  • Conduct outbound and inbound calls daily to resolve outstanding balances to minimize aging accounts
  • Manage client communications and provide accurate account details and information with an elevated level of professionalism and integrity
  • Negotiate payment plans while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Monitor payment plan and ensure commitments are honored
  • Partner cross- functionally to resolve issues impacting payment timelines
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile accounts and manage accounts

  • Basic computer skills: Excel, Gmail
  • Excellent communication skills via phone and email
  • Desire to crush collecting goals while balancing firmness with professionalism
