Job description

Event Orchestration

Multiple openings โ€“ work is onsite (not remote) at client office in metroโ€‘Boston area.

Responsibilities
  • Building a central eventโ€‘driven orchestration layer that coordinates endโ€‘toโ€‘end processing across trade ingestion, accounting runs, corporate actions, cash processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Moving from batchโ€‘driven consumption to managing business events and exception handling.
Qualifications
  • Senior backend / fullโ€‘stack engineer (Java, Spring Boot)
  • React (working knowledge for lightweight UI / operational screens)
  • Microservices with event streaming & messaging (Kafka / Azure Event Hubs)
  • API design (REST and messaging contracts, schema & versioning)
  • Relational data modeling (PostgreSQL)
  • Cloud native services โ€“ ideally Azure
  • Experience with Blitzy is a plus as we are leveraging across the board
Experience

Experience in the investment/financial services space needed โ€“ trading, compliance, clearing/settlements/trade processing, SWIFT/ACH.
