Overview


As an Associate Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for working in a team-based environment supporting our customers running workloads in the public cloud. You will work in conjunction with your team to foster heightened customer experience and drive technical innovation in the managed services practice.


Your Impact


The essential functions of this position include:

  • Support and maintenance of Azure production environments
  • Ensuring availability, performance, security, governance and scalability of Azure production systems via various monitoring, logging, and other toolsets
  • System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.
  • Support of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on Azure platform.
  • Maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.

Qualifications


  • Experience supporting customers deploying workloads in the public cloud
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex, interdisciplinary public cloud technical issues
  • Ability to work in a diverse and geographically dispersed team environment with multiple engineering resources of varying skillsets and responsibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of Customers across different verticals
  • Familiar with cloud networking constructs such as Expressroute and VNETs
  • Experience working in CI/CD pipelines to include tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of operating system administration to include Linux and Windows
  • Microsoft technologies to include Active Directory, SQL, Patch Management, Certificate Services, Cloud Identity to include Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Cloud Security services to include Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Firewall, Azure WAF
  • Kubernetes systems administration
  • Experience with application load testing and quality assurance activities
  • 1+ years of experience in deploying and supporting complex datacenter and/or public cloud environments
  • Entry level public cloud related certification preferred

Position Specifics


The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $65,000 and $90,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
