Job description

Summary:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented FinOps Analyst to support cloud cost optimization, tagging automation, and financial forecasting aligned with FinTech operational requirements and compliance mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and automate tagging strategy for account-wide cost attribution
  • Build showback and chargeback models across business units
  • Monitor budgets, forecast cloud spend, and identify cost anomalies
  • Drive optimizations (RI/SP, rightsizing, autoscaling) and enforce cost governance policies
  • Collaborate with Finance, Security, and Cloud Ops to maintain compliant cost tracking

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, and tools like CloudHealth or CloudCheckr
  • Understanding of FinOps Framework and best practices for large-scale cloud environments
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, QuickSight)
  • Experience managing costs in regulated FinTech environments with audit needs
  • Familiarity with tag enforcement tools and IaC-driven resource labeling
  • Strong communication skills to deliver executive-level reporting and recommendations
