This is a hands-on role responsible for designing, enabling, and evolving scalable, secure, and highly reliable platforms that accelerate software delivery and operational excellence. You will work closely with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to drive automation, standardization, and cloud-native best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
DevOps & Platform Enablement
  • Partner with development and infrastructure teams to enable fast, reliable, and secure delivery of code to production.
  • Champion and implement DevOps, DevSecOps, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and SRE best practices.
  • Design and support distributed systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, observability, performance, and security.
  • Promote a software-driven approach to infrastructure through automation and tooling.
  • Influence and support cloud strategy, architecture standards, governance, and cloud provider engagement.
Architecture & Modernization
  • Design end-to-end infrastructure and platform architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions with clear implementation roadmaps.
  • Evaluate and modernize existing systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and integration.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Drive cloud and infrastructure cost optimization using FinOps principles, observability insights, and lifecycle management.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, influencing decision-making across teams.
  • Lead architectural discussions, design reviews, and deep technical sessions.
  • Produce clear documentation, presentations, and technical guidance for stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous learning and adoption of modern engineering practices across the organization.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure and platforms.
  • 10+ years implementing DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud architecture and modernization.
  • Relevant cloud certification (AWS or Azure architecture preferred).
  • Deep expertise in cloud and infrastructure architecture (AWS and/or Azure preferred).
  • Strong experience with DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including:
    • Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
    • CI/CD platforms (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
    • Observability and monitoring tools
  • Broad knowledge of compute, storage, networking, security, and virtualization.
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
  • Experience with distributed systems, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of security principles integrated into SDLC.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to operate strategically and tactically.
  • Expert in designing highly scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure across cloud-native, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
  • Proven track record driving DevOps/SRE transformations to improve engineering velocity and reliability.
  • Effective cross-team collaborator with experience delivering complex, business-critical initiatives.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic architect who leads through influence.
  • Committed to engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes.
