Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, optimize, and support Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, backup and recovery, database security, and high availability solutions.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c).
  • Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and perform performance tuning.
  • Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN backup and recovery.
  • Perform database migrations, upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Troubleshoot database performance issues, corruption, and outages.
  • Implement database security, user management, encryption, and auditing.
  • Automate DBA tasks using PL/SQL, Bash, or Perl scripting.
  • Monitor storage, capacity planning, and database health.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve database performance and availability.
  • Provide on-call production support as needed.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience administering Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c).
  • Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, backup, and recovery.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle performance tuning and database optimization.
