About therole

• Create and modify database structures, ensuring optimal design for both transactional integrity and analytical reporting

• Perform advanced database maintenance tasks, including backups/restores, statistics updates, index optimization, and performance tuning

• Proactively monitor and optimize database performance across AWS MySQL, Azure TSQL, and Databricks AnsiSQL environments

• Design, implement, and manage Master Data Management (MDM) solutions that ensure data consistency across systems

• Collaborate with data engineers to map production data to data warehouse solutions with MDM standards

• Develop and maintain comprehensive Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), system flow documents, and technical specifications for leadership and cross-functional teams

• Maintain system security and data integrity across all data environments

• Partner with systems engineers to optimize hardware and storage subsystems for AWS

• Develop, manage, and maintain robust disaster recovery and high availability plans

• Collaborate with Infosec and Security teams on data compliance, security, and retention

• Participate in data architectural design reviews with both Technology and Data teams

• Mentor and coach team members on database best practices

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is$97,000.00-$207,000.00.The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
