A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you are the crucial link between our customers and our technicians. When clients come into the shop, you greet them and determine what issues they are experiencing with their vehicle. Based on each customer's needs, you make service recommendations and help them determine which repair options are best for their vehicle. Throughout the process, you clearly communicate mechanical issues in terms the customer can understand. Once they've decided on a plan, you write the repair order and communicate the required work to the technician who will be taking care of the customer's car.
You understand that building great relationships is just as important as selling our services, so your top priority is customer satisfaction. In addition to communicating with guests, you help the repair process run smoothly by scheduling appointments efficiently and sourcing aftermarket parts so that we always have what we need to get the job done. Your satisfaction comes from working with an excellent team and getting customers safely back on the road!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR
  • 2+ years of experience as a service advisor at an automotive dealership or service center
  • Experience sourcing aftermarket parts
  • 21+ years of age
  • Driver's license, insurable driving record, and proof of insurance for your personal vehicle
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects over 50 lbs
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
