Your Purpose as a Business Intelligence & Data Analyst:

The Business Intelligence & Data Analyst sits at the intersection of business operations, analytics, reporting, and data management. This position is responsible for providing support to Finance, Operations, Marketing, Fixed Operations, and management to ensure our data is accurate, trusted, and actionable.


In Your Role:

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Maintain and enhance enterprise reporting solutions
  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot dashboards, reports, and analytical tools
  • Support business users through reporting demonstrations, Q&A sessions, training, and solution design
  • Translate business questions into meaningful reporting and analytics solutions
  • Help drive report optimization, usability improvements, and stakeholder adoption

Data Management & Governance

  • Own data mapping, validation, exception monitoring, and data quality processes
  • Perform month-end data reconciliations and reporting tie-outs
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across business systems
  • Contribute to data security, governance, and stewardship initiatives
  • Document data definitions, business rules, and reporting logic

Analytics & Business Partnership

  • Partner with stakeholders across dealership operations, finance, marketing, and corporate functions to identify reporting needs and improvement opportunities
  • Analyze business performance, customer behavior, lead conversion, marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and other key metrics
  • Support executive decision-making through data-driven insights and analysis
  • Contribute to ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives

Data Platform & Modern Analytics

  • Support development and maintenance of enterprise data pipelines
  • Help ingest data from source systems, including Tekion and other operational platforms
  • Help migrate and modernize existing reporting logic into future-state analytics platforms
  • Contribute to AI-enabled reporting, automation, and advanced analytics initiatives

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL and relational database skills.
  • Experience working with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
  • Experience validating, reconciling, and troubleshooting business data.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, or cloud-based analytics environments.
  • Experience with data governance and master data management practices.
