Job Summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is a leading electrical manufacturing and automation contractor specializing in custom UL 508A control panels, power distribution equipment, and engineered electrical systems for industrial facilities. From concept and design through manufacturing, testing, startup, and commissioning, we deliver high-quality electrical solutions that power critical industries.

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to oversee custom electrical manufacturing projects from initial customer engagement through final delivery. This position is responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, procurement, customer communication, and manufacturing execution while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage manufacturing projects from project kickoff through final delivery and customer acceptance.

Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to establish project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.

Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure production milestones and customer deadlines are achieved.

Coordinate engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and customer activities throughout project execution.

Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, purchasing, cost tracking, change orders, and budget management.

Negotiate and administer purchase orders, vendor agreements, and subcontractor services as required.

Prepare and maintain project documentation including submittals, RFIs, schedules, progress reports, and closeout documentation.

Monitor manufacturing progress, identify project risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget performance.

Work closely with manufacturing supervisors and engineering teams to support production activities and resolve technical issues.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers while identifying opportunities for future business.

Minimum Job Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or project management.

Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects.

Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Planner.

Experience with Bluebeam or similar document management software.

Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
