Essential Job Functions Serves as an SME for the development and delivery of training solutions pertaining to technicians, maintainers, or operators of military platforms, systems, or weapons

Works with a team of engineering and training development professionals to analyze, design, develop, and deliver desktop software, computer-based training (CBT), virtual/augmented reality simulators, and/or training devices. Works with a team of production and manufacturing technicians to provide technical guidance during all phases of development and implementation. Participates in training conferences, In-Process Reviews (IPRs), and other required meetings.

May be required to work occasionally outside of normal hours. Must be able to climb, lift, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time in hot or cold conditions. Must be able to travel in support of data capture, device recovery, testing, and delivery.

Assists in developing testing documentation and device user and operator manuals. Supports production and engineering professionals by: Troubleshooting systems and/or components. Determining suitable replacements of OEM components with Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) components.

Determining functional and physical fidelity of COTS, simulated components, and software. Advising if components are properly installed and wires are accurately routed and secured. Informing functionality of components, subsystems, and systems through interpretation and communication of theory of operation and practical application.

Identification of spares for logistical support of training devices. Identifying tools, test sets, and support equipment to meet training requirements of the device. Hardware Software Integration (HSI).

Assisting the production team as necessary to meet schedule dates. Develops training curriculum and courseware or other instructional products and presents them to the customer. Performs Contractor Preliminary Inspections (CPI).

Accompanies training device recovery and delivery efforts to ensure proper handling and care of the training device while loading, unloading, and transporting/towing events. Provides analysis of transportation options based on contract requirements, such as method, location, and environment. Oversees and aids in assembly of training device to ensure proper care and installation of components.

Performs Contractor Final Inspection (CFI) once the device is reassembled at the customer's site. Complies with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) restrictions on export of military hardware and training services. Complies with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and security classifications as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).

Responsible for the inspection, inventory upon receipt, and safe handling of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI). Must be available to work a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Four (4) years of experience directly related to the area of expertise in the maintenance or operation of systems and subsystems for the project assigned.

Additional qualifications or experience as required by the Statement of Work. Successful completion of an approved Military Instructor Training Program desired but not required. Four years' experience with CMV-22 Airframe System.
