Job description

Our client is seeking a Systems & Network Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable network performance, system availability, and security. The ideal candidate will have experience administering network environments, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and maintaining virtualization platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain network and server infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical systems.
  • Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Troubleshoot network, server, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage backups, system updates, and security patches.
  • Maintain documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Support end users and work with vendors when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and firewall administration.
  • Experience with Scale Computing HyperCore (HC3) virtualization platform.
  • Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
  • Understanding of network security best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
