About The Role
As a Junior Associate at Priority Tax Relief, you will collaborate with seasoned professionals in the field of tax resolution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Advocating on behalf of clients before IRS revenue officers, agents, and other IRS personnel.
  • Drafting necessary forms and responding to IRS collection actions.
  • Working with specialists to address state tax authority issues.
  • Conducting thorough reviews and analyses of client tax documents to identify issues and formulate effective resolution strategies.
  • Preparing and submitting offers in compromise, installment agreements, and other tax resolution proposals.
  • Communicating regularly with clients to update them on case progress and address their concerns.
  • Researching tax laws, regulations, and IRS procedures to support case development and client representation.
  • Assisting in the preparation of audit defense documentation and representing clients during IRS audits.
  • Keeping detailed and organized records of all client interactions, case progress, and correspondence with tax authorities.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with tax laws and enhance your advocacy skills.

Key Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
