JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
Glenmont, NY
Fusco Personnel is recruiting for a driven, detail-oriented professional to join our client as a Junior Project Manager / Estimator. This role offers hands-on exposure to estimating, bidding, and project coordination for construction projects, with responsibilities spanning bid preparation through project closeout. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and a genuine interest in building a career in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and bid packages to complete quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Assist in preparing accurate, well-supported bid proposals for review by senior estimators and project managers.
  • Request and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, comparing quotes and clarifying scope details.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with trade partners and vendors.
  • Support project setup, schedule tracking, and change order processing throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date project documentation from kickoff through closeout.
  • Serve as a communication link between senior project managers, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field staff to keep project information current.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • Strong math and analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Comfortable working in an office setting with occasional visits to active job sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
