Job Description:
We are seeking Electrical Assembly Technicians to join our production team in Millington, MD. This is a hands-on manufacturing position focused on installing electrical systems and components into custom-built metal equipment centers.


Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates with electrical helper, apprentice, commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or journeyman experience are encouraged to apply. Training and opportunities for advancement are available based on experience and skill level.


The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read electrical drawings and schematics, and a commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Install switchgear and electrical components into custom-built metal equipment centers
  • Install wiring, electrical fixtures, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and related components
  • Plan electrical layouts and complete wiring installations
  • Run conduit and install cable trays
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and engineered designs
  • Install and test electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot, repair, test, and verify electrical systems and components
  • Ground electrical equipment in accordance with customer specifications and NEC requirements
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Perform electrical testing and quality verification
  • Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as needed
  • Ensure completed work meets engineering specifications, customer requirements, NEC codes, and company quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Minimum 18 months of electrical or electrical helper experience preferred
  • Experience with electrical installation, wiring, switchgear, or control equipment is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) preferred
  • Experience running conduit and installing electrical components is preferred
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manufacturing environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical apprentice or helper background
  • Journeyman Electrician experience
  • Vocational or technical electrical training
  • Experience with switchgear, control panels, panelboards, MCCs, or power distribution equipment
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or commercial electrical experience
  • Electrical testing and quality verification experience
  • Experience with conduit and cable tray installation

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, reach, and climb ladders throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environments with noise, dust, heat, cold, heights, confined spaces, and moving equipment
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain safe work practices
