The Role
We're looking for a motivated Packaging Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Framingham, MA. Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, you'll play a hands-on role in the quality control, packaging, and labeling of cannabis products. This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to break into cannabis manufacturing and build valuable, transferable skills in a growing industry. Duties may expand beyond what's listed below as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities
  • Handle packaging tasks as needed across all product lines
  • Participate daily on the packaging assembly line alongside the team
  • Quality-check cannabis goods to confirm they're ready for sale
  • Verify label information prior to application
  • Print product labels
  • Update production logs
  • Maintain a clean, organized packaging area
  • Work independently when needed, with strong follow-through
  • Pitch in on other areas of the operation as needed
Qualifications
  • 1+ years in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment preferred
  • Hospitality, CPG preferred and or Kitchen Experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must reside in Massachusetts
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with peers, supervisors, and managers
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of brand integrity
  • Must be able to obtain a state badge
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift light to moderate weight (25-75 lbs); heavier loads with assistance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable with repetitive motion and operating computers, printers, and labeling equipment
  • Able to maintain a consistent, fast pace
