Salary:
$45-50 Hourly
Start Date:
Jul 6, 2026
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trade Show / Exhibit Design Engineer to join a dynamic team.
This role is crucial for transforming conceptual designs into tangible, buildable structures for trade show exhibits and custom fabrications. The Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models using Inventor, developing precise 2D blueprints for fabrication, and collaborating closely with project managers and shop teams. This position is integral to ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and successful execution of our projects, directly impacting our ability to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. While the title "Project Engineer" can vary, in our organization, it signifies a hands-on engineering role focused on post-sale execution, detailed design, and technical problem-solving within the specialized trade show environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Create 3D models and detailed drawing layouts using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Help turn conceptual exhibit designs into buildable, functional solutions.
  • Use R-CIM Automation for CNC programming and part layouts.
  • Design wiring schematics and custom PCBs using KiCad.
  • Integrate PLC and Arduino-based microcontrollers for controls and interactivity.
  • Collaborate directly with project managers and shop leads on fabrication.
  • Participate hands-on in production to support and refine build quality.

What We're Looking For:
  • Quick thinkers with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a shop and production environment.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (especially Inventor), or the ability to learn fast.
  • Interest in or experience with CNC, 3D printing, electronics, or fabrication.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow.
  • Open to entry-level candidates with the right mindset and learning ability.

We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong critical thinking and adaptability.
Tech & Tools We Use:
  • Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for mechanical design.
  • R-CIM Automation for CNC programming.
  • KiCad for custom wiring diagrams and PCB development.
  • PLC and Arduino microcontrollers for interactive systems.
  • In-house FDM and mDLP 3D print farm.

Who We Are:
a full-service experiential marketing company that designs and fabricates custom trade show exhibits, branded environments, and live event experiences. We're a small culture-based company with big capabilities - delivering world-class solutions for clients across industries including automotive, government, sports, technology, and consumer products.
