Our Private Practice is a large DOCTOR-OWNED integrated practice, offers an opportunity to join our integrated eye care practice as a part-time or full-time Optometrist in our Roswell, NM clinic. We seek a candidate who can bring excellent clinical skills to provide primary eye care to an area of New Mexico in need of providers. Our Roswell clinic is currently supported by an Optometrist, and retina specialists who rotate through the clinic. Excellent opportunity for an Optometrist who values a service oriented, team based environment with a strong commitment to providing quality patient care. Extensive patient base will promptly allow for a busy practice. Eligible for partnership consideration after the second year of employment.

- We have 61 doctors – half Ophthalmologists (in most specialties) and half Optometrists. We have a number of medical optometrists who serve as entry level providers for the Ophthalmologists in the various specialties.
- Eye Associates has 12 clinic locations across NM, 10 optical shops, 3 surgery centers and a vision research center.
- We have a stellar reputation and are one of the largest privately held eye practices in the U.S. Many of doctors stay with us their entire career. Great mentoring opportunity for newer Optometrists.

- Many of our Optometrists work 4, 10’s. We are also open to part-time providers (note: must be a .75 FTE or greater for some company paid benefits).

Compensation & Benefits:
- $25k sign on bonus
- $6k professional allowance for professional business equipment needs or CME – what isn’t used is paid out at the end of the year.
- 25 days of PTO if working 5 days a week + 8 paid holidays. If working 4 days a week: 20 days of PTO + 8 paid holidays. PTO days increase at 4 years of service.
- Company paid (if a .75 FTE or greater): Life, AD&D, Short-term Disability, Long Term Disability, malpractice insurance, association fees, vision benefits (free exam, glasses every year up to $600 or sunglasses up to $400), EAP plan, Calm app access.
- Shared cost: 3 medical plans to choose from and dental.
- Also offer: HSA if on a high deductible health plan, FSA if not, supplemental life/AD&D, identity theft, etc.
- 401k – annual discretionary profit sharing contribution. Percentage contributed increases with ownership.
