Software Engineer-Developer 3 Onsite | Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL | Secret Clearance Required About the Role Join Indotronix as a Software Engineer-Developer 3 and shape the future of advanced defense technology. Collaborate with top industry partners to design and implement mission-critical mathematical algorithms for Missile Defense Systems (MDS). Work in a fast-paced, secure environment where your contributions directly impact national security while developing enterprise-grade Java solutions. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and optimize Java-based mathematical algorithms in partnership with industry leaders
  • Execute the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, integration, and troubleshooting
  • Create and maintain software design documents; participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality and scalability
  • Engage in Agile sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement activities
  • Develop software requirements and system architecture for MDS applications
  • Enhance and implement integration and testing processes, tools, and metrics
  • Document and execute integration and testing activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related STEM field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, or Spring
  • Ability to translate MATLAB-based algorithms into Java-based software
  • Experience with server-side development and message passing
