Job description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Hatch TeamMember forHatchery 1 in Oakwood.

SHIFT HOURS: 5-day work week, rotating weekdays and weekends 7:00pm-6:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE:$18.95 with the potential of increasing to $19.20 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

  • Transferring eggs and pulling hatch as instructed
  • Cleaning and/or disinfecting processing room, walls, holding room, incubators and loading bays.
  • Setting up processing line and assisting in the loading of poult trucks
