Description
Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Turkey Mover to join our team in Fort Recovery.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-3:00pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.30 with the potential of increasing to $17.55 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
  • Loading & delivering turkeys in a cautious manner.
  • Following all biosecurity practices & SOPs as they relate to the position.
  • Completing all required paperwork neatly and completely.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
