Job description

This local company is experiencing growth with a new product line and is seeking an Analytical Chemist. They're an established SOPS but are following a newly established line created to increase sales. In this role, you will perform tests and analyze data from GC testing. What You Will Do:

  • Develop, validate, and transfer analytical testing methods for raw materials, intermediates, and final products
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, operating analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FTIR)
  • Perform assays, write technical reports, and maintain GMP/DEA compliance
  • Support off-site testing, compound characterization, and reference material qualification
  • Set up new or existing analytical methods for compound identification, purity, and potency testing

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in chemistry or a closely related field is required
  • Chemistry degree desired, with a PhD preferred
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements within cGMP, safety, and regulatory environments
  • Operational knowledge of analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC
  • Strong ability to solve extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data is used
