Job description

As an Entry Level Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing Federal, State and City corporate income tax returns. This will include preparation of federal quarterly estimates throughout the year for your assigned entities. Additionally, you will be preparing the closing tax schedules for the year-end financial audit, and working on tax research projects as needed throughout the year. Other routine monthly activities include but are not limited to: preparation of monthly tax account reconciliations, assisting with any ongoing state income tax audits, and keeping up to date with current income tax law changes at the Federal and State level.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Well organized and attentive to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
