We are looking for an entry level Analog Engineer. They will support Analog design, verification and simulation of integrated circuit development projects. You will be expected to deliver high quality designs in an agreed timescale.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Design, verification and simulation of CMOS Analog blocks, in collaboration with team members.
  • Develop expertise in design skills, utilizing best practice and seeking continuous improvement.
  • Take proactive approach to driving own development plan, utilizing team members and internal development opportunities.
  • Work closely with Layout Engineers to develop key Layout skills.
  • Work closely with Applications Engineers to evaluate own design blocks in the lab to develop key evaluation skills.
  • Produce high quality documentation for own IP blocks.
  • Develop and refine organization skills to ensure project schedule is met.
  • Contribute to verification tasks, where appropriate.
  • Any ad hoc tasks as deemed reasonable by your manager.

Key Performance Measures:
  • High quality design, on time and according to design specification, ensuring appropriate methodology and design flow is followed.
  • Demonstrate significant development of technical, communication and organisational skills for all tasks, from initial design through to post layout verification.
  • Timely and accurate documentation.
  • Timely progress reporting and highlighting of risks/issues.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement of technical, non-technical skills, measured through manager review.
  • Demonstrate ability to build effective relationships with relevant stakeholders.
