Job description

As an Entry-Level Aircraft Component Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components. This position offers a valuable opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hydraulic components and their role in flight and utility systems. You will work under the guidance of experienced mechanics and gain hands-on experience in the aviation industry.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior mechanics in performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various aircraft components, such as landing gear, flight controls, and other hydraulic systems.
Learn and follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Clean and prepare aircraft components for inspection and repair, following established guidelines and practices.
Assist in testing, disassembling and reassembling aircraft components under supervision, ensuring adherence to maintenance manuals and technical specifications.
Inspect and identify damaged or worn-out parts, reporting findings to senior mechanics for further evaluation.
Participate in on-the-job training to acquire knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance techniques.
Use hand tools and equipment properly and maintain them in good working condition.
Use precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and surface analyzer.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and component histories.
Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and aircraft readiness.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational or technical training in aircraft maintenance or other discipline that includes hydraulics is a plus.
Basic understanding of mechanical principles and a willingness to learn new skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and maintain a safety-conscious mindset.
