Location: Savannah. GA | Payrate: $19.29/hour | Schedule: 1st shift 4am to 2:30pm
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to find motivated, team-oriented individuals ready to grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

About the Role
As an Operations Technician in the Paint Shop, you'll support aircraft manufacturing and composite painting operations in a fast-paced production environment. You'll work alongside experienced team members who are committed to training and mentoring individuals eager to learn and grow.
This is not a mechanical role - it is a painting-focused position within the composite shop. Candidates with painting experience are encouraged to apply, but a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are most important.
What You'll Do
  • Must have painting experience
  • Learn to read work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Support team operations with a collaborative, "jump in and help" attitude
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices throughout the shop
  • Grow your skills and responsibilities as experience is gained

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer and keyboard skills
  • Ability to read a scale and perform basic shop math
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Must be available to work any shift
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications
  • Enrollment in a Technical Aviation program preferred
  • Previous painting experience preferred
