Position: Admin Assistant - Entry Level Recruiter
Location: Office Located in Cypress, TX 77429 (Onsite)
Compensation: Based on Experience
Position Summary
The Admin Assistant - Entry Level Recruiter provides admin support to the recruiting team while gaining hands-on experience in candidate sourcing, applicant screening, onboarding, and client support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people and has strong organizational skills. This role is designed as a career development opportunity with the goal of advancing into a Skilled Trades Recruiter position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls and greet applicants and visitors professionally
  • Assist candidates with completing applications and onboarding paperwork
  • Schedule interviews, orientations, drug screens, and background checks
  • Monitor office email and respond to candidate inquiries
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Support daily office operations and administrative tasks

Recruiting Support
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and pre-screening calls
  • Schedule candidate interviews with recruiters and hiring managers
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with job fairs, hiring events, and community recruiting efforts
  • Learn recruiting best practices, staffing operations, and skilled trades terminology

Growth & Development
  • Participate in recruiter training and mentorship
