AI Software Engineer Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid โ€“ onsite required) Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire Start Date: ASAP Position Overview We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on building scalable AI-driven applications and data platforms. This is a hands-on technical role involving backend development, API engineering, cloud architecture, streaming data, and GenAI integrations. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical leads and product owners to understand requirements, contribute to system design, develop scalable solutions, and support best engineering practices in a collaborative Agile environment. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs
  • Build RESTful APIs using FastAPI and GraphQL APIs using Strawberry
  • Develop real-time data pipelines using Kafka or Event Hubs
  • Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and distributed data systems
  • Implement scalable data processing workflows using Spark and Delta Lake
  • Utilize Databricks for data engineering and ML workflows
  • Integrate LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Llama, or other GenAI platforms
  • Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
