Shaily Aggarwal Dental Inc is a patient-focused dental practice in Fremont, CA dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate dental care in a comfortable, modern environment. Our team emphasizes infection control, advanced imaging, and patient education to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and a positive experience for every patient.
We are hiring a dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team on a full- or part-time basis. The RDA will assist the dentist chairside, manage imaging and digital scanning, maintain strict infection-control and HIPAA protocols, support patient flow and scheduling, and provide patient education. This role is ideal for an engaged professional who enjoys team-based care and working in a fast-paced dental office.

Job Description

Provide chairside assistance using four‑handed dentistry techniques to support the dentist efficiently and safely.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms; follow and enforce infection-prevention and sterilization protocols (autoclaving, instrument processing).
Take, process, and maintain dental x-rays and digital images, adhering to radiation safety standards.
Operate and assist with advanced imaging equipment including 3D scanners.
Accurately document patient encounters, treatment plans, and charting in the patient record system while maintaining HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental practices.
Assist with patient scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and help manage patient flow in coordination with front office staff.
Maintain operatory and clinic supply levels; assist with inventory control and ordering.
Participate in routine office quality assurance, OSHA and HIPAA compliance activities, and continuing education initiatives.
Provide excellent patient service, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout appointments.

Salary Range

Full-time $28 - $30 per hour

Requirements
  • Dexis
  • Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
  • Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential required.
Authorized radiography operator permit or equivalent (per California requirements) preferred/required.
Knowledge of dental terminology, four‑handed dentistry, and infection prevention and control.
Experience with dental imaging equipment and digital 3D scanners (experience operating imaging equipment and acquiring clinical images).
Strong understanding of HIPAA requirements and demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
Competence in patient charting and managing patient records.
Excellent interpersonal and patient-counseling skills; ability to explain procedures and home care clearly.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff.
Entry-level candidates with the required credentials and a solid clinical foundation will be considered.
