Your Role: Estimating Administrative Assistant

The Estimating Administrative Assistant supports the estimating team by coordinating bid-related activities, organizing project information, and assisting with administrative functions tied to commercial construction estimating operations. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in the construction industry. No prior estimating experience is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist estimators with bid preparation and project setup
  • Coordinate bid documents, addenda, drawings, and specifications
  • Maintain bid calendars and project folders
  • Complete contractor pre-qualification forms and supporting paperwork
  • Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and outside contacts regarding project information and bid activity
  • Support procurement and new project setup after awarded work
  • Update databases, tracking systems, and contact records
  • Assist with reporting, data entry, and organization of estimating information
  • Coordinate virtual and in-person pre-bid meetings
  • Work collaboratively with estimating, project management, and business development teams


Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required (College degree preferred)
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage large amounts of information and prioritize tasks
