Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an exciting potential opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to support the Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Position Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Entry-level physical therapists must be graduates of a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education or from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • CAPTE-accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education-Active State License (any U.S. state)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Minimum of Two Years of Experience within the last three years as a physical therapist
Key Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapist in this role, you will: Assess patients for physical deficits and functional limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans to enhance mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Utilize data-driven techniques to create effective therapy programs. Apply therapy techniques tailored to each Veteran's unique condition. Recommend & Evaluate adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs, canes, and braces. Provide specialized physical therapy treatments, including:

  • Therapeutic exercises
  • Neuromuscular re-education
  • Gait analysis and training
  • Functional activity training
  • Pain prevention and management
  • Adaptive equipment assessment and prescription
  • Electric modalities (hot/cold packs)
  • Wound and lymphedema care
  • Pelvic health therapy
  • Aquatic therapy
  • Wheelchair seating and positioning
