Tag & Title Clerk

Location: Pooler, GA

Pay: $21-26/hour, dependent on experience

J.C. Lewis Motor Co. is proud to be Georgia’s oldest continually owned and operated automotive dealership, serving Savannah and the surrounding communities since 1912. At our Pooler location, we're looking for a tag and title clerk to join our team and play a key role in processing tag and title paperwork for in-state and out-of-state purchases, including retail and wholesale customers. If you're a team player with strong organizational skills and an eye for detail, we'd love to have you onboard!


What You'll Do:

  • Processes all tag and title paperwork in a timely manner 

  • Verify accuracy of title paperwork and trade title information 

  • Coordinate with lienholders to obtain vehicle title status

  • Verify tax exempt status with relevant counties when appropriate 

  • Process military customers' title paperwork 

  • Assist in other office functions or other duties as designated by the supervisor

  • Basic understanding of tag and title laws in the state of Georgia
  • 1-2 years of data entry or administrative support experience
  • Entry-level accounting experience
  • 1-2 years of dealership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
