We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join a corporate collections team in Saddle River, New Jersey. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who is eager to build hands-on accounting experience in a structured, on-site environment while supporting day-to-day financial operations. The role will focus on reconciliations, receivables activity, and accurate financial recordkeeping, and it offers the chance to grow within a well-established organization.


Responsibilities:

• Support corporate collections activities by following up on outstanding balances and helping maintain timely payment records.

• Prepare and review account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and assist with resolution efforts.

• Process and track accounts receivable transactions while ensuring financial data is entered accurately.

• Assist with accounts payable tasks, including reviewing entries and helping maintain organized payment documentation.

• Complete bank reconciliations and compare account activity against internal records to ensure accuracy.

• Record routine accounting entries and help maintain complete, up-to-date financial information.

• Use Excel to organize reports, analyze basic account details, and support daily accounting workflows.

• Collaborate with internal team members to address billing or payment questions and support overall collections operations.
