Position: Accounting Assistant
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Start Date: Immediate
Position Summary
A Japanese trading company is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support its accounting and administrative operations. This position is primarily responsible for Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including expense reimbursement processing, invoice handling, and payment reconciliation. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level accounting professional or someone seeking a stable, routine-based accounting role.
Responsibilities
Process employee expense reports and receipts
Review, record, and reconcile vendor invoices and general expense invoices
Perform Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including payment processing and account reconciliation
Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
Provide administrative support as needed
Assist with month-end closing activities
Qualifications
Less than 3 years of accounting experience preferred
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
Basic accounting knowledge required; bookkeeping certification or equivalent accounting coursework is a plus
Intermediate English reading and writing skills
