D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Sales Coordinator. The right candidate will assist sales management in coordination of all aspects of sales, including reporting, MLS listings, monitoring outside lenders, following up with sales team on tasks due, and assisting with the overall sales function of the division as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist Sales Manager with follow up from sales team on outside lender updates, contingency buyer updates, inventory sheets, marketing plans, pre-sales kickoff sheet, etc.
  • Update & distribute price and feature sheets
  • Manage live listings on MLS for price increases, tagging as sold or closed, etc.
  • Establish phone service in new communities; also updates as needed, tracking, reviewing call reports
  • Responsible for collecting and reviewing all sales teams marketing plan submittals and following up to ensure marketing plans are activated
  • Prepare quarterly sales awards
  • Monitor contact management program for input of leads, emails, and outreach documentation
  • Manage VIP Realtor program: oversee list of VIPs, run monthly reports, perform VIP outreach by making periodic calls and texts to VIPs to thank them for selling DHI homes
  • Manage quick move ins and facilitate marketing push for those homes, per Sales Manager direction
  • Research questions or needs which arise from all parties including outside lenders, sales team, title, Sales Manager, etc.
  • Maintain OneNote and sales files
  • Schedule interviews for Sales Manager
  • Schedule and coordinate shops, per Sales Manager direction
  • Maintain and distribute Sales Phone List
  • Deliver supplies to field as needed
  • Order breakfast for sales meetings
  • Assist Marketing with sales meeting set up/clean up
  • Track attendance at sales meetings
  • Maintain sales vacation calendar, verify vacation is submitted in PeopleSoft
  • Track sales team reaches & traffic
  • Cover models in cases of emergency absence
  • Additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to work weekends when needed

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently to balance competing deadlines
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
  • The noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA/CFA or demonstrate candidacy is strongly preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school a plus
  • JD Edwards experience a plus
