Public Accountant positions handle taxes and audits. Tax season is very hectic for all Tax Accountants; they usually work late hours and weekends during these months.
Entry Level Accountants are generally responsible for tasks such as preparing and maintaining financial records, processing invoices, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and supporting monthly and year-end close processes. They may also help with reconciliations, data entry, and compiling financial reports under the guidance of senior accountants or supervisors.
