As a Associate Paraplanner, you will play a vital role in supporting our internal team, managing schedules, coordinating tasks, and contributing to relationship development. This position provides a unique opportunity to explore the Wealth Management industry from behind the scenes and build a strong foundation for a rewarding career in financial planning.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and update financial plans with oversight from Financial Planner.
  • Collaborate with wealth advisors to understand client needs.
  • Refine proficiency in financial planning software.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of KRW model portfolios, investment philosophy, benchmarks, and strategy.
  • Work with Client Service Team on routine/simple client requests.
  • Provide limited support to onboard new clients.
  • Assist with organizing and updating Advyzon, RightCapital, and client folders.
  • Assist with tax season efforts.
  • Train and mentor interns.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in financial planning is desirable but not required; this is an entry-level role with strong career development potential. Preference will be given to candidates currently enrolled in or who have completed financial planning education leading to professional certification (e.g., CFP or CPA/PFS).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and productive, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
