Job description

Position Summary:

The Accounting Associate II is an intermediate level clerical position that provides accounting support for the company. The tasks at this level range from routine to moderate in difficulty requiring some analysis and limited judgment. The Accounting Associate II operates with a general degree of supervision and instruction.

Typical Functions:

  • Manages a high volume of simple to moderately complex processes including, but not limited to, company billing, accounts payable, payroll, and/or collections

  • Provides general project accounting support beginning with project initiation through project close-out

  • Provides general administrative support, including phone support and filing

  • Ensures the integrity and accuracy of data (time entry, employee expense reimbursements, billings, etc.)

  • Assists in the development of entry level accounting staff.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or higher in accounting or related field

  • Minimum two years office experience, preferably in an accounting department

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or QuickBooks

  • Workday experience a plus

  • Detail-oriented nature

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Sensitivity to confidentiality

A good faith estimate of the starting hourly rate (gross) for this position is in the following range:

$24.00 - $36.00
