Job description

Experienced Escrow Officer

Granbury, Texas | Full-Time

Universal Title is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team in Granbury, Texas.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with hands-on Texas title and escrow experience who understands the closing process from opening through funding and disbursement and can confidently manage a busy desk while providing an exceptional experience for our clients.

What You’ll Do

·     Manage residential real estate transactions from contract through closing and disbursement

·     Review contracts, title commitments, surveys, lender instructions, payoffs, HOA information, and other closing documentation

·     Prepare and review settlement statements and closing documents

·     Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, attorneys, and other transaction parties

·     Coordinate signing, funding, recording, and disbursement

·     Identify and help resolve title and closing issues before settlement

·     Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant escrow files

·     Manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

·     Deliver the responsive, professional service that keeps clients coming back

·     Build and maintain strong relationships with our real estate partners

What We’re Looking For

·     Previous experience as a Texas Escrow Officer is required

·     Strong knowledge of Texas title, escrow, and residential closing procedures

·     Texas Escrow Officer license/appointment or ability to meet applicable licensing requirements

·     Experience independently managing transactions from start to finish

·     Excellent organizational and time-management skills

·     Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues before they become problems

·     Professional, confident communication skills

·     Ability to manage a high-volume workload without sacrificing accuracy or customer service

·     Comfortable learning and working with title and escrow technology

·     Qualia experience is a plus, but not required

The Right Person

You know that a great closing is about more than getting documents signed. You anticipate problems, communicate before someone has to ask, keep your files organized, and understand that every transaction is an opportunity to strengthen a client relationship.

You take ownership of your desk, enjoy being part of a team, and genuinely care about giving agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers an excellent closing experience.

Why Join Universal Title?

We believe exceptional operations and exceptional service go hand in hand. You’ll join a collaborative team that values accountability, communication, professionalism, and relationships—and you’ll have the opportunity to be part of our continued growth in the Granbury market.

If you are an experienced Texas Escrow Officer looking for a place where you can grow, build relationships, and be part of a strong team, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today and tell us a little about your Texas escrow experience.
